A bit about Ms. Aguirre
As of August 2016, Rebecca Aguirre has been a Teacher Specialist in Educational Technology for Pomona Unified School District. She serves the staff and students of 10 schools (K-8, Middle School and High School) with integrating technology into the classroom, and closing the achievement gap through educational technology.
Ms. Aguirre's History
Ms. Aguirre began teaching for PUSD in August 2006, at Marshall Middle School. She taught 6-8th grade ELA, 6th/8th grade history various ELD courses, ASB, AVID and AVID Excel. In early 2016, she decided to return to college and pursue a Master's in Education focusing on Educational Technology. Through this EdTech Program she learned to leverage technology in the classroom, which opened opportunity to change career paths and head down a different road, integrating technology into all classes in PUSD.

As a Teacher Specialist in Educational Technology, Ms. Aguirre is responsible for serving 10 sites within Pomon Unified School District. The site needs vary, and with the help of other teacher specialists as well as site Technology Teacher Leads (TTLs) Ms. Aguirre is helping PUSD students excel as 21st Century Learners and become a Future Ready district.
